PUNCTUALITY:
Students must strictly observe the
time regulations. Every child must assemble for prayer at 8.30 a.m.
ATTENDANCE:
- Parents should see that their wards do not absent themselves from school except under unavoidable circumstances.
- If a pupil is absent to school, application for leave must be made and sanction must be obtained prior to absence.
- Leave will not be granted except on written application from parents. In case of absence due to sickness or other emergencies a leave letter must be sent to the school on the first day of absence.
- Absence on the reopening day is not allowed. Absence on the reopening day may lead to removal of the pupil’s name from the roll. Readmission may be considered by the Principal on the merit in each case.
- No pupil will be allowed to leave the school during school hours.
- No half-a day’s leave or permission to go home during school hours will be granted except in case of an emergency at the discretion of the Principal. A written request from the parents is necessary in such cases.
- Students taking leave to school for more than three days have to submit an explanatory letter to the Principal written by the parents/Guardians.
- Leave on medical grounds should be supported by a proper medical certificate.
- A minimum of 90% attendance is a requirement for promotion to the next higher class.
- Pupils suffering from infectious disease will not be permitted to attend school.
CONDUCT AND DISCIPLINE:
- Every pupil is expected to be polite and courteous. Bad behavior and use of foul language may result in expulsion of the student.
- Habitual deeds in subordination to school authorities, teachers and any kind of cheating or serious misconduct or any objectionable habit are sufficient reasons for punishment and dismissal from the school.
UNIFORM:
It is the duty of parents
to ensure that their wards come to school neatly dressed. Each pupil is
expected to possess at least three sets of regular uniform. It is compulsory
for the pupil to wear a clean uniform to school and school functions. Habitual
defaulters in matters of uniform will be punished.
IDENTIFICATION CARD:
An Identification Card will be issued
to each student in the beginning of the academic year. This should be worn
daily.
EXAMINATIONS:
- A student must secure an average of 50% in each subject in the various examinations conducted throughout the year and 50% in every subject in the Annual examination to ensure promotion.
- The School will not hold any special test or examination or practical for absentees. They have to forego their ranks and average.
- Results declared at the end of the year are final in all respects and will not be reconsidered under any circumstances
OPEN DAY:
This School conducts
open day for all the parents / guardians to meet Principal, Class Teachers
and Subject Teachers on five occasions after every examination in an academic
year. The day / date for both “open day” and “Parents-teachers Meeting”
will be mentioned in the calendar.
TRANSFER CERTIFICATE:
- Application for transfer certificate should be made in writing by the parent / Guardian. Transfer Certificate shall not be issued unless all outstanding dues to the school are paid.
- Transfer Certificate will be given only to the parent / Guardian.
- In cases when the parent gets transferred, issue of Transfer Certificate will be favorably considered provided; a copy of the transfer order must be submitted.
- Application for T.C must be submitted before March 30th. If application for T.C. is submitted after March 30th, it will be issued only after the payment the I term fees. “The authorities may frame and issue from time to time disciplinary / rules of permanent or temporary character, regulating the conduct of the students within the campus and outside, as far as such rules seem necessary to maintain the usefulness and reputation of the institution. The student has to abide by these rules”.
MEDICAL
EXAMINATION:
Medical
Inspection is conducted once a year.
Advice given by the doctor is sent home and parents are requested to
take action on the same.
GENERAL:
- Pupils are responsible for the safety of their own belongings. The school cannot assure any responsibility for the loss of the pupil’s belongings.
- Writing or scribbling on the walls or furniture and damage to any school property are forbidden. The class will be penalized collectively if the culprits are not found out. Chewing gum is strictly forbidden in the school premises.
- Change of address of the pupil if any, should be intimated to the school office immediately.
- Pupils are expected to take part in all the co-curricular activities of the school. No one will be exempted except for legitimate reasons which have been approved by the Principal.
- Pupils are requested to make all remittances directly at the office counter. The School cannot assume any responsibility for the loss of cash if handed over to any employee.
- Parents are requested to respond to the invitation from the school for all public functions.
